Durlon® 5000 is a commercial grade compressed sheet gasket material for moderate service conditions. It is suitable for a continuous operating temperature of 450°F (232°C); or a maximum pressure of 1000 psi (69 bar) at ambient temperature. It is suitable for steam, oil, water, mild alkalis and acids, hydrocarbons and solvents.
Durlon® 5000 contains high strength mineral fibers bonded with nitrile (NBR) synthetic rubber. A release agent on both sides provides good anti-stick properties.
